To realize an optical switch for simultaneously performing optical switching between two optical fibers each other in the optical fibers of respective sets by one switch drive in plural sets of optical fibers that one set is constituted of two optical fibers for constituting one optical transmission line.

The optical fibers 101a and 101b, the optical fibers 102a and 102b, the optical fibers 103a and 103b and the optical fibers 104a and 104b become the sets respectively, and mutual end surface each other of two optical fibers of respective sets are confronted through a space propagation part 200 in the state of that the optical axes of the end surfaces each other coincide with each other. Respective movable parts 41, 42, 43, 44 being the end parts of the optical fibers 101a, 102a, 103a, 104a are moved by a moving means. By one operation for moving the end part of the optical fiber, the optical switching in plural sets of optical fibers are performed.
