Abstract:
PURPOSE:To offer an optical switch capable of >=3-way switching and also driving >=3 pairs of positioning pins inserted into fitting holes of a connector by one driving source at the same time in the same direction. CONSTITUTION:More than three pairs of fitting holes (7a and 7b, 7c and 7d, and 7e and 7f) are formed penetrating two connectors 3 and 4 which are made to abut on each other mutually slidably and >=3 pairs of positioning pins 8a-8f (8a and 8b, and 8c and 8d, and 8e and 8f) to be inserted into the pairs of aligned fitting holes are provided in the connectors 3 and 4. The positioning pins 8a-8f are provided with large-diameter parts 10 and small-diameter parts 11 and the large-diameter parts 10 are long enough to reach two opposite fitting holes and as long as or shorter then the individual fitting holes and the three pairs of positioning pins 8a-8f are arranged shifting axially in position, in pairs.
