Abstract:
To densely mount electronic component and optical components to be mounted on a circuit board.
An optical transceiver comprises: a circuit board 10 that is a multilayer circuit board having a plurality of layers of wiring patterns; an electronic component 26 mounted on the circuit board 10; optical components 16 mounted on the circuit board 10; optical fibers 14 optically connected with the optical components 16; and retainers 12 that retain the optical fibers 14. The retainers 12 are made of a conductor, joined on the wiring patterns, and electrically connected with one another.
