Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow adjustment of the position of a light tunnel from the outside of a set housing without breaking down a projector in a projector illumination system where the position of illumination is adjusted by adjusting the position or attitude of the light tunnel.SOLUTION: The optical unit includes: an illumination uniformizing element 4, a casing 22 containing the element, an adjustment mechanism 6 changing the position of the element 4 in response to operation on an operated part 40A, a set housing 30 containing the casing and the adjustment mechanism and having an adjustment hole 35 allowing operation to be done on the operated part from the outside, and a light opening 22a connecting the outside and the inside of the casing together, the operated part being illuminated by light going to the outside of the casing from the light opening.
