Abstract:
To provide a coloring matter sensitization optoelectric conversion element and a light reproduction type photo electrochemical battery with improved optoelectric conversion characteristics and durability.
In a coloring matter which sensitizes optoelectric conversion element that is composed of a conductive support, a layer containing semiconductor fine particles that adsorbs a coloring matter painted onto the conductive support, a layer containing gel electrolyte, and a counter electrode, gel of the layer for containing gel electrolyte contains at least one type of components with a carbonate group, a nitrogen ring containing nitrogen atom, or monohydric organic residual group which is selected from a quaternary ammonium salt.
