Abstract:
To provide an oral administration composition of a parathyroid hormone, i.e. PTH, which is free from side effects of hypercalcemia, hypercalcuria and nephrolithiasis.
There is provided an oral co-administration composition containing an effective amount of PTH and an effective amount of calcitonin. The calcitonin is preferably salmon calcitonin, and the PTH is preferably a human PTH. The composition is effective for treatment or prevention of osteoporosis and stimulation of osteogenesis.
