To enhance the heating efficiency of a pyrolytic furnace and to efficiently discharge the residue of matter to be treated, in an organic compound decomposition treatment apparatus for removing an organic compound component of waste by pyrolysis.
The furnace body 2 of the pyrolytic furnace 1 is constituted as a vertical structure and a delivery mechanism 7 is provided so as to send matter to be treated charged from the upper part of the furnace body 2 to the bottom part of the furnace body 2 by own weight falling to quantitatively discharge the matter to be treated to the bottom part. The delivery mechanism 7 has a housing 11 for covering the bottom part of the furnace body 2 airtightly and a pusher 12 subjected to reciprocating motion so as to traverse the furnace body 2 in the housing 11 and the pusher 12 pushes out the matter to be treated on the bottom part of the furnace body 2 in a lateral direction by a constant height H to discharge the same. Since the whole in the furnace can be loaded with the matter to be treated, heating efficiency is enhanced and a feed mechanism becomes unnecessary because the matter to be treated is fed in the furnace by own weight falling and the structure of this treatment apparatus becomes simple.
