Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly integrated device by manufacturing a device using an organic material not affected by crystallinity even by microminiaturizing in 0.1 μm or less, to provide a device capable of forming on a plastic board or the like and having excellent flexibility and to provide a rapid switch element capable of being applied to an electronic equipment requiring a rapid response.
SOLUTION: When an organic thin film having conductivity is used for a channel of the electronic device, the plastic board or the like can be used. In the case of the organic thin film made of organic molecules each having a photoresponse function group, the conductivity of the thin film can be controlled by emitting light. In the case of the organic thin film made of organic molecules each having a polar functional group, the conductivity of the thin film can be rapidly controlled by applying an electric field. Thus, the switch element capable of being applied to the electronic equipment such as a display unit or the like can be provided.
