PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an org. waste treatment apparatus capable of efficiently heating the inside of a housing vessel housing org. waste, executing the drying or fermentation treatment of the org. waste and well discharging the hot air in a heating chamber even when a blower for hot air circulation goes out of order.
SOLUTION: This org. waste treatment apparatus is provided with an agitating device 15 in the housing vessel 1 for housing the org. waste and executes the drying or fermentation treatment of the org. waste by heating the bottom of the housing vessel 1 and introducing the hot air generated by the heating into the housing vessel 1. The heating chamber 4 is disposed to enclose the outer side of the bottom section of the housing vessel 1 and a ventilation path 7 is disposed in the upper part of the heating chamber 4 in communication therewith. The upper section of this vent path 7 is provided with an outdoor air introducing port 9 and is provided with a combustion burner 5 for heating the inside of the heating chamber 4. A perforated cover 6 to enclose the combustion flames of a combustion burner 5 is disposed. A blower 10 and a duct 12 are so connected as to send the hot air in the heating chamber 4 to the inside of the housing vessel 1. A discharge duct 13 is connected to the upper part of the housing vessel 1.
