Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic waste water treating method capable of surely subjecting even a harmful material adsorbed to the suspended substance contained in waste water to oxidative decomposition.
SOLUTION: The organic waste water containing the suspended substance to which a hardly-decomposable harmful material such as dioxins and endocrine disruptors is adsorbed is made to pass through a reaction tower 1 provided with a packing material 2 or a separation membrane as it is. The harmful material adsorbed to the suspended substance is decomposed and removed while capturing the suspended substance with the packing material 2 by throwing-in an oxidizing agent such as hydrogen peroxide, ozone and chlorine.
