Abstract:

To provide a novel compound that greatly decreases a hysteresis loss and greatly enhances abrasion resistance of a rubber composition, a rubber composition comprising the compound and a tire obtained using the rubber composition.

The organosilicon compound includes a cyclic structure containing a nitrogen atom and a silicon atom, at least one sulfur atom and a site where at least one less sterically hindering group is bonded to the silicon atom in the molecule. The rubber composition comprises a rubber component (A) composed of a natural rubber and/or a diene synthetic rubber and, incorporated therewith, an inorganic filler (B) and the organosilicon compound (C). The tire is obtained using the rubber composition.
