Abstract:
The present invention is an organosiloxane graft polyvinyl alcohol polymer containing a structural unit shown by the following general formula (1),
wherein M 1 and M 2 represent a hydrogen atom, an acetyl group, or a siloxane group shown by the following general formula (2), provided that at least one of M 1 and M 2 is a siloxane group shown by the general formula (2); and A represents a single bond or a linking group. There can be provided an organosiloxane graft polyvinyl alcohol polymer that has general characteristics such as film-forming property and transparency as well as high solubility with respect to an organic solvent and excellent handleability as a liquid material.
