Abstract:
PURPOSE: To minimize an affection of sand etching and enable an embossed plate to be obtained being deeper than that, of a conventional one.
CONSTITUTION: The manufacture of an original plate for forming an embossed film is featured such that a resist layer 30 is formed on a metal plate 10 of iron, copper and like materials so as to form a resist 32 by exposing and developing a pattern 42, and also form etched grooves by performing an etching process, and then an electro-deposited resist 64 is formed along the etched groove 16 by an electro-deposited method. Furthermore, the resist 32 is removed and a non-eroded part 18 exposed by removing the resist 32 is given electrolytic coating for forming a metal-coated layer 20, and finally the elctro-deposited resist 64 is removed.
