CONSTITUTION: A substrate 1 consisting of a heat-resistant material is placed in a transparent heat-resistant glass vessel 4 wherein a gaseous reactant 3 is sealed, and a metallic coating film 2 consisting of at least one element among group IVa elements is formed on the surface of the substrate 1 by dry plating.
