Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the tip of a deployed auxiliary lift base from colliding with a step section of a road surface and being broken in a vehicle lift device provided with the auxiliary lift base deployable to the side of a car body on a lift base provided at the entrance of a vehicle and lifted or lowered between a floor surface and the road surface to allow a passenger riding a wheelchair to get on or off the vehicle.
SOLUTION: A lift base 15 located at the storage position during a travel is temporarily lifted to the storage/deployment position higher than the step section G0 of a road surface G2, an auxiliary lift base 18 is deployed to the side of a car body at the storage/deployment position, then the lift base 15 is lowered to the position along the road surface G2 of a footpath, or it is lifted to the position along the floor surface 5 of a vehicle.
