PURPOSE: To represent the peculiar color and brightness of an ornament even if rays of light from outside are not incident in the interior thereof, by a method wherein after a first pulse signal, a second pulse signal and a light-detected signal are received, an electric signal is transmitted to a light-emitting body in regular timing.
CONSTITUTION: The number of light-emitting bodies A may be single or plural, and a light-emitting element such as an LED can be used. This light-emitting body A emits rays of light to the exterior through a transparent body 1. A first pulse- generating means C generates a first pulse signal of which the pulse interval is comparatively short, and a second pulse-generating means D generates a second pulse signal of which the pulse interval, at least, is longer than that of the first pulse signal. On the other hand, a light-detecting means E detects rays of light incident through the transparent body 1, and generates a light-detected signal. All of these signals are transmitted to a signal-processing means B and the signal process specified is done. To be concrete, the time of light emission and the timing thereof are controlled so that the light-emitting body A emits the rays on the basis of the first pulse signal, only when the second pulse signal is received and the light-detected signal is not received. In this way, when the rays are not incident to the transparent body 1, the light-emitting body A repeats its emission and no emission at regular intervals.
