Title:
ORNAMENTAL LIGHTING FIXTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3935126
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ornamental lighting fixture having a presence in an air, or an original form of a frame, and having a light emitting area with an unclear boundary which can produce a lustering quality characteristic to the flame, namely, a reproduction (imitation) of a further realistic flame.
SOLUTION: This ornamental lighting fixture 1 is provided with an electric light source 2, and a transparent or translucent lighting part 3 disposed opposite to the electric light source 2 at an interval L in the axial direction (a lighting direction of the light) and radiated by transmitting the light lit from the electric light source 2. The surface except for the lower part area 3a of the lighting part 3 is provided a rough surface part 3A formed by extremely finely roughening its surface. The light lit by the turn-on of the electric light source 2 is irregularly reflected and radiated from the rough surface part 3A alone provided on the surface of the lighting part 3, has the presence in the air and produces the lustering quality characteristic to the flame, namely, the reproduction (imitation) of the further realistic flame by the light emitting area of the rough surface part 3A with the unclear boundary.
