Abstract:
To provide an outboard engine 5 which can inhibit discoloration around an exhaust hole.SOLUTION: An outboard engine 5 includes: an engine 9; a drive shaft 10; a propeller shaft 11; a housing 14; a discharge passage P; and non-metallic cover members 16, 17. The housing 14 has a discharge part 33 which discharges exhaust air and a coolant of the engine 9. The discharge passage P guides the exhaust air and the coolant from the engine 9 to the discharge part 33. The non-metallic cover members 16, 17 are detachably attached to the housing 14 so as to cover the discharge part 33. The non-metallic cover members 16, 17 have at least one discharge hole 16b, 17b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6A
