Abstract:
PURPOSE: To perform an easy and fast operation for connecting a connection refrigerant pipe to an operating valve by a method wherein an operating valve bracket provided with the operating valve for connecting the connecting refrigerant pipe with an indoor device is arranged at an upper part of a device casing.
CONSTITUTION: An operating valve bracket 16 to which operating valves 17 and 18 are fixed is fixed to an upper part of a right side plate 1e of a device casing 1. These operating valves 17, 18 and the operating valve bracket 16 are positioned above a compressor 5 within a machine chamber 3. This operating valve bracket 16 is installed by applying a lid 23 to the right side plate 1e in a threaded engagement. In this way, the operating valves 17 and 18 are positioned at the upper part of the device casing 1, so that an operator can connect the connecting refrigerant pipes 19, 20 to the operating valves 17 and 18 in a comfortable attitude and accordingly the connecting work can be easily and rapidly carried out.
