Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an outdoor raising-lowering type luminaire which is suspended and held on a raising-lowering machine by wire ropes and by which lateral swinging is not caused at raising-lowering time.
CONSTITUTION: An outdoor raising-lowering type luminaire is provided with a column 21 erected on the ground surface or the like, a raising-lowering machine 23 which is arranged in a luminaire main body installing part 22 arranged above this column and has an electric motor to drive a winding drum to wind and rewind wire ropes 27 and a luminaire main body 24 which is suspended and held by the wire ropes 27 and encloses a lamp to be raised and lowered. The luminaire main body 24 is movably connected along the column between the column 21 and the luminaire main body 24, and holding members 32 and 31 are arranged to hold both in the constant positional relationship at raising-lowering time.
