To provide an outdoor unit of an air conditioner capable of efficiently heating a drain pan by a heater.
This outdoor unit of the air conditioner heating air by utilizing warm water, includes a lower-stage compressor 6 and an upper-stage compressor 7, an air heat exchanger 11, and an outdoor fan 15 disposed in adjacent to the air heat exchanger 11. The drain pan 16 as a pan for the drainage generated in a defrosting operation, is disposed at a lower part of the air heat exchanger 11, and a drain pan heater 17 is mounted on a lower face 160 of the drain pan 16. The drain pan heater 17 is composed of piping used for supplying a refrigerant discharged from the lower-stage compressor 6 and the upper-stage compressor 7 to the air heat exchanger 11.
