PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit of an air conditioner capable of improving cooling performance of an electric component module unit without degrading performance of the outdoor unit.SOLUTION: An outdoor unit of an air conditioner includes a compressor disposed in a machine chamber 12, a blower 20 disposed in a blower chamber 13 for sucking the air from an intake port 15 and blowing off the air to the external from a blowoff port, a heat exchanger 19 disposed between the intake port 15 and the blower 20 in the blower chamber 13, and an electric component module unit 30 provided with a control board 31 having a power module for controlling the compressor and the blower 20, and a heat sink 32 disposed in a state of being closely kept into contact with a surface of the power module. The electric component module unit 30 is disposed so that the heat sink 32 is positioned just above the blower 20, and radiation fins 32a of the heat sink 32 are directed toward a blower 20 side so that the air of the blower 20 flows among the radiation fins 32a.
