The outdoor unit 1 for the refrigerating cycle device includes a compressor 15, an outdoor heat exchanger, and three or more outdoor blowers 6, 7, 8 for supplying outside air to the outdoor heat exchanger. The outdoor unit 1 also includes a main control part for controlling the whole of the outdoor unit; a compressor control part for performing drive control of the compressor 15 according to instructions of the main control part; a plurality of blower control parts for performing drive control of the respective outdoor blowers 6, 7, 8 according to instructions of the main control part; a first board 20; a second board 30; and a third board 40. The main control part is placed on the first board 20, the compressor control part is placed on the second board 30, at least one of the blower control parts is placed on the first board 20 or the second board 30, and the remaining blower control parts are placed on the third board 40.
