To provide an outer peripheral driving-type oil free scroll compressor able to obtain synchronous rotating performance over a long period and having high performance and high reliability.
A synchronous rotation auxiliary means is arranged on a timing belt 7 that constant load may be always applied to a rotatable pulley by an elastic body. Since the extension of the timing belt 7, generated during the operation of a compressor or in long use is always corrected by the synchronous rotation auxiliary means such as a tension pulley 30, a driving shaft 5 and an auxiliary crank shaft 6 are suitably and synchronously rotated. Since a clearance on the lap side surface can be kept small as well as contact on the lap side surface can be prevented, high reliability and high performance are provided.
