PURPOSE: To obtain an output circuit capable of effectively preventing the generation of a ringing without increasing the access time.

CONSTITUTION: A driving transistor 2a conducts when the potential of a node N2 becomes an H level to discharge an output node 6 to a ground potential level. A driving transistor 2b discharges the output node 6 to the ground potential level at a high speed when the transistor 6 becomes on-state. The driving transistor 2b becomes on-state for a prescribes period at the time of completing the outputting of high level data to discharge the output node 6 to the ground potential level for a constant period. Thus, the potential of the output node 6 is lowered from a high level to an intermediate level to make the amplitude of a next output signal small.
