Abstract:
To provide an ovality measuring sensor capable of surely continuously measuring the deformation amount of a rotary kiln, and a manufacturing method of cement.SOLUTION: A rotary kiln comprises: a pair of first leg parts fixable with an interval in the circumferential direction of a cylindrical outer peripheral surface of the rotary kiln; an elastically deformable deformation plate hung between the two first leg parts; a second leg part fixed to the rotary kiln and supporting the deformation plate when fixed to the deformation plate between the first leg parts and fixing the two first leg parts to the rotary kiln; a strain gage provided on a surface of the deformation plate and detecting a strain value of the deformation plate; a control part detecting the strain value of the deformation plate and communicating with external equipment; a thermoelectric converter supplying power to the strain gage and the control part; and a case having openings allowing the two first leg parts and the second leg part to penetrate therethrough, and surrounding the deformation plate leaving a space allowing the elastic deformation of the deformation plate. The case is provided with a fixing part allowing fixing of the case to the cylindrical outer peripheral surface, and the thermoelectric converter and the control part are connected to the case.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
