To provide an overcurrent tripping device for a circuit breaker, in which the assembling structure of a tripping current regulation mechanism is improved so as to prevent deterioration of voltage resisting strength of a case while ensuring a stable overcurrent tripping operation characteristic.
The overcurrent tripping device for circuit breaker includes an assembly of a thermal tripping mechanism in which a bimetal 6 and a heater conductor 7 are combined and connected to a current path of a main circuit, and an electromagnetic tripping mechanism in which a magnetic yoke 8 fixed to and supported by the heater conductor 7 to enclose the current path of the main circuit is combined with an armature 9 facing the magnetic yoke 8, the armature 9 being turnably held by a shaft part 13a of a regulation link 13 linked with a regulation dial 15. The regulation link 13 is directly supported by side walls of the magnetic yoke 8 through pivotal holding plates 18 fitted to both end of the shaft part 13a.
