Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a compact and inexpensive overvoltage suppressing circuit by connecting a nonlinear resistor between the serial connecting section between a first and second odd-side switching elements and the serial connecting section between a first and second even-side switching elements.
CONSTITUTION: A nonlinear resistor 17 is connected between the serial connecting section P1 between a first odd-side switching element 8 and second odd-side switching element 9 or odd-side current limiting resistor 12 and the serial connecting section P2 between a first even-side switching element 10 and second evenside switching element 11 or even-side current limiting resistor 13. Therefore, both the second odd- and even-side switching elements 9 and 11 can be protected from destruction by installing the nonlinear resistor 17 to one location only and a compact and inexpensive overcurrent suppressing circuit can be obtained.
