PURPOSE: To realize a magnetic bar code wherein discrimination between a magnetic bar and a nonmagnetic bar is difficult except magnetic signal processing, and oxide magnetic powder and nonmagnetic powder capable of being baked at a lower temperature are manufactured and applied to ink.
CONSTITUTION: As to oxide magnetic powder, material powder in NiO, ZnO, Mn3O4, Fe2O3, CuO and LiO is selected and baked at 650-1250°C to manufacture spinel type ferrite wherein chemical composition is expressed by a general formula {Ma1-xZnx}1-z.Mb2.Fe2+α.O4. As to oxide nonmagnetic powder, material powder in NiO, ZrO, Fe2O3, CuO and LiO is selected and baked at 750-1300°C to manufacture spinel type ferrite wherein chemical composition is expressed by a general formula Mcy.Zn1-y.Fe2+β.O4. A magnetic bar code is formed by using magnetic ink and nonmagnetic ink which contains oxide magnetic powder, oxide nonmagnetic powder, and the respective polymer compounds.
