Abstract:

To provide a polysiloxane type cured material which is excellent in transparency and is hard to be subject to yellowing even under high temperature, to provide a polysiloxane composition to obtain such cured material in which oxide particulates are highly dispersed and to provide its production process.

The oxide particulate-containing polysiloxane composition is obtained by mixing silicon oxide particulates and/or metal oxide particulates (A) with a polyfunctional polysiloxane obtained by dealcoholization reaction of an alkoxy terminal polyfunctional polysiloxane (b1) of which the weight average molecular weight is in a range of from 500 or more to less than 3,000 and a hydroxy terminal polydimethyl siloxane (b2) of which the weight average molecular weight is in a range of from 2,000 or more to 100,000 or less with the weight ratio (b1/b2) of 3/97-55/45 based on the total of 100 pts.wt., in the presence of a basic compound, acidic compound or metal chelate compound in an organic solvent to disperse the oxide particulates (A) into the organic solvent.
