Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a size separation unit made of quartz glass which is highly reliably connected to a metal piping system.
CONSTITUTION: In a unit having a tubular filter medium 1 with one end sealed consisting of porous silica whose pore diameter is controlled and a housing 3 which consists of quartz glass and hermetically seals the filter medium and is provided with a fluid reed pipe 2 for feeding fluid to be filtered to the filter medium and a fluid discharge pipe 5 for discharging the filtrate, a metal pipe 6 joined by a resin joining part 7 to the end of at least one of the fluid feed pipe and/or the fluid discharge pipe is provided to provide a metal pipe for connection for a size separation unit made of quartz glass.
