To provide a method for controlling input power to an ozone generator of an ozone production apparatus which is economical and produces only a small amount of byproducts such as oxidant by following variations in water quality of service water and temperature and storing ozone required for always obtaining suitable slime-removing effect.
The ozone production apparatus comprises an ozone generator for producing ozonized oxygen, an adsorption and desorption column for adsorbing and storing ozone from the ozonized oxygen produced in the ozone generator, and a water stream ejector for desorbing and supplying the ozone which is adsorbed and stored. The apparatus comprises an ozone concentration meter 10 which is an ozone concentration-measuring means for measuring desorbed ozone concentration and a control circuit 12 for adjusting the input power to the ozone generator 1 by comparing the measured value detected by the measuring means with the set value from a setting device 11.
