Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide the toilet paper which easily catches the eye of customers at the store and which is prevented from moisture absorption in the domestic use, by successively packaging the toilet paper rolls with different packing papers of different colors and patterns and thereafter placing a plurality of the paper rolls separately in a transparent polyethylene bag. CONSTITUTION:Toilet paper stock 5 is wound by a winder 6 into a roll of paper 7 which is cut by a log cutter 9 into the predetermined length of toilet paper rolls 3. On the other hand, a number of different kinds of packing paper 4 printed in different colors or colors and patterns by a printing machine 25 are produced and, by using such packing papers 4, the toilet paper rolls 3 are successively packaged by a packing machine and a plurality of such packages are thereafter placed separately in a transparent polyethylene bag 1. During this time, the packing papers 4 of two different kinds or more of colors or colors and patterns are used as aforesaid, and the transparent polyethylene bags 1 are used. A colorful appearance of the toilet paper rolls 3 in this bag 1 catches the eye of customers at the store and, in the domestic use, since the individual toilet paper rolls taken out of each polyethylene bag 1 are packaged with the packing papers 4, their moisture absorption is avoidable.
