To provide a packaging container which has good appearance and does not degrade a commercial value by preventing a large gap from occurring between a transparent fitting lid of the packaging container and fishery products when the products stored in a frozen state thaw at a room temperature and reduce the volume.
The packaging container consists of a container body W1 formed of a thin synthetic resin sheet material and a lid C1 to be detachably fit over the upper surface opening of the container body. The bottom of the container body is formed like a trough of at least two slopes 1 and 3 and to be kept in the middle not to ground by legs 4a to 4d hanging from corners. The spatial height h1 between the container body W1 and the lid C1 with the lid closed is specified to be smaller than the thickness of the frozen fishery products to be put in.
