Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging device capable of reducing a use amount of an ink ribbon.SOLUTION: In an actual print range 291 in which information related to a packing object is actually printed on a packaging material 2 by a printing part, a dimension in a conveyance direction DR of the packaging material is smaller than a printable range 29 for one package where printing on the packaging material 2 by the printing part is possible. The printing part prints the information related to the packaging object on the packaging material based on print data 110, and according to this printing, an ink ribbon is conveyed just by a predetermined distance which is equal to or greater than the dimension in the conveyance direction DR of the packaging material in the actual print range 291 and below the dimension DR in the conveyance direction of the packaging material in the printable range 29.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
