Title:
PACKAGING MATERIAL FOR THERMALLY DEVELOPABLE IMAGE RECORDING MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR DETECTING PRESENCE OF REMAINING THERMALLY DEVELOPABLE IMAGE RECORDING MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003084397
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an improved packaging material for stacked thermally developable image recording materials and a method for detecting the presence of the remaining recording material in which a recess or a notch formed in a bottom backing paper does not exert a bad influence due to the escape of an organic solvent on the lowest recording material in a mechanism for judging the presence of the remaining recording material by detecting the suction of the recording material by a sucker which brings out each recording material.

The packaging material for thermally developable image recording materials is characterized in that it has a recording material detecting means obtained by forming a recess or a notch in a bottom backing paper present at the bottom of the packaging material in a portion with which part of a sucker comes in contact and packing the recess or notch with a filler comprising an air-permeable flexible material which does not absorb an organic solvent and is impervious to the solvent.
