Abstract:
To provide packaging paper and a manufacturing method thereof, having flexibility and heat sealability, excellent strength and printability, and reduced use amount of a resin.SOLUTION: Packaging paper comprises a fiber raw material involving a pulp and a polyolefin-based fiber, wherein a compounding amount of the pulp is 50 mass% or over with respect to the fiber raw material and a compounding amount of the polyolefin-based fiber is 20-50 mass% with respect to the fiber raw material, its density is 0.30-0.65 g/m3, and a Bekk smoothness measured in accordance with JIS P 8119 is 20-150 s.SELECTED DRAWING: None
