Abstract:
To derive the size of a packaging material and an exterior packaging material suitable for the shape of an object to be packaged.SOLUTION: A packaging support device includes: acquisition means for acquiring a photographed image in which an object to be packaged which is an object for packaging or exterior packaging is photographed regarding one or more directions, and distance information showing the distance to the object to be packaged in the direction; constitution means for constituting contour information showing the contour of the object to be packaged on the basis of at least one of the photographed image and the distance information acquired by the acquisition means; derivation means for deriving the dimension according to the shape of the object to be packaged on the basis of the contour information and the distance information; and determination means for determining the size of the packaging material or the exterior packaging material of the object to be packaged on the basis of the dimension according to the shape of the object to be packaged derived from the derivation means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
