PURPOSE: To provide a packing bag with a grip which can be easily contained in the bag for the time except while transferring and reduced in cost.

CONSTITUTION: A released edge 3a, at which the front and back packing materials are extended, is provided at the one side of a bag body 2. A string 4 for a grip is contained in the inside thereof and both ends 4b, 4c are stuck at the inner face of the packing material. The string 4 is not exposed and it can be used by drawing out as a grip on transferring. Since the string 4 can be contained for the time except while transferring, its handling is not inconvenient on charging the contents and transferring and further, it has a good appearance on displaying. The string can be fitted at the same time when the packing bag is in the producing process and hence, the production cost becomes less. As another form, a bag-closing part, at which the front and back packing materials are extended, is provided at one side of the bag body 2. A string may be contained in the inside of the bag-closing part and an unsealing means may be provided at the bag-closing part.
