To provide a packing body for a photoreceptor unit which suppresses electrification of a photoreceptor and also shields the photoreceptor from light until the photoreceptor unit is attached to an image forming apparatus body with simple constitution.

In the packing body for the photoreceptor unit detachably attached to the body of the electrophotographic image forming apparatus, the photoreceptor unit has the photoreceptor 1 and an electrifier 2. The packing body includes a light shielding sheet 100 with which the photoreceptor 1 is covered in order to shield the photoreceptor unit from the light in operation to attach the photoreceptor unit to the body of the image forming apparatus. The light shielding sheet 100 is a conductive sheet, and is arranged in contact with the photoreceptor 1 and a stabilizer 21 of the electrifier 2, so that the photoreceptor 1 and the electrifier 2 are made to have the same potential, thereby suppressing discharge from the electrifier 2 to the photoreceptor 1 even if a packing bag of the photoreceptor unit is tribal electrified and charge is concentrated on the electrifier during transportation.
