PURPOSE: To certainly turn over a paper sheet toward the bound part of a booklet and to certainly return the paper sheets of a lower layer in the direction opposite to the bound part in succession when a plurality of paper sheets are turned over by providing a pressure change-over means altering the pressing force of a drive roller in two stages on the basis of the detection signal of the rotary direction of a reverse roller.
CONSTITUTION: The drive roller 1 contacting the surface of the paper sheet of an opened booklet 3 and driven in the direction turning over the paper sheet toward the bound part 4 of the booklet is provided. The reverse roller 2 energized toward the surface of the paper sheet is provided to the drive part rotated in the direction opposite to the rotary direction of the drive roller 1 at the position slightly moving away from the drive roller 1 in the distance from the bound part 4 so as to be connected through a torque limiter. The pressing force of the drive roller 1 to the paper sheet is altered in two stages on the basis of the detection signal of the rotation detection means detecting the rotary direction of the reverse roller 2 by a pressure change-over means.
