Abstract:
To provide a coating hardening device which can suppress generation of ozone.SOLUTION: A coating hardening device 100 is for hardening a coating 151 on a workpiece 150, and includes: an electron beam emission unit 1 for emitting an electron beam for hardening the coating 151; and a container 3 for containing the electron beam emission unit 1. The coating hardening device 100 relatively moves a workpiece 150 and the electron beam emission unit 1 while emitting an electron beam from the electron beam emission unit 1 to the coating 151, with the passing region in the container 3 of the electron beam emitted from the electron beam emission unit 1 to the coating 151 being set in an insert gas atmosphere.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
