Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly store and extract pallets by mounting the pallets mounted with articles on a free roller group from the article entrance and exist of a rack, conveying them to the depth side in the conveying direction of the rack, and storing them in the pallet rack. SOLUTION: When a pallet P mounted with an article is to be stored, the pallet P is mounted on free rollers 19 at an article entrance and exit 13 section by a forklift, and it is pushed backward by a fork F. This pallet P is pushed to the depth side by the next pallet P mounted at the article entrance and exit 13, and a plurality of pallets P are conveyed in the conveying direction (a) of a rack 15 and stored in sequence from the depth. When the pallets P are stored on the rack 15, high-position rail faces 6 are kept in contact with the guide rollers 3 of a rail body 2, a conveying body 4 itself is set to the low-position state, pallets 8 are not protruded upward from the conveyance plane of the free rollers 19, and the pallets P are freely conveyed along the conveying direction (a).
