Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a pan tilter by which proper pan and tilt are executed at all times even when a picture angle is adjusted by a zoom lens.
CONSTITUTION: In the video camera pan tilter 20 mounted with a video camera 10 having a zoom lens whose focal distance is adjustable as an image pickup lens 1, the driving speed of a driving means 22 or 23 implementing panning or tilt operation is changed in response to the output of a zoom position sensor 16 detecting the focal distance of the zoom lens.
