In this panel cleaning device, a distance between input side nip rollers 21, 22 and output side nip rollers 23, 24 is practically equal to the length of the panel. The panel cleaning device has a first cleaning head 30 for cleaning a panel surface 61, a vertical movement means 40 for reciprocating the first cleaning head 30 in the direction of arrow Z, a parallel movement means 50 for moving the first cleaning head 30 in the direction of arrow Y, the width direction of the panel, parallel to the panel surface 61, a second cleaning head 30' for cleaning the back surface 62 of the panel, a vertical movement means 40' for reciprocating the second cleaning head 30' in the direction of arrow Z, and a parallel movement means 50' for moving the second cleaning head 30' in the direction of an arrow, the width direction of the panel, parallel to the panel back surface 62.
