PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel device that has good appearance and consumes less power while ensuring sufficient brightness of a panel.SOLUTION: Second surfaces 152D, 152E, and 152F of light guide bodies 152A, 152B, and 152C define sealed air spaces between a housing and a substrate 156. Electrodes 156F, 156G, and 156H of the substrate 156 are arranged respectively on the lower side of the second surfaces 152D, 152E, and 152F. Electrodes 156F, 156G, and 156H overlap respectively on light transmission parts 154B, 154C, and 154D in the vertical direction. Light sources provided on the electrodes 156F, 156G, and 156H respectively irradiate the light transmission parts 154B, 154C, and 154D with light.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
