Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a panel element for a panel assembly, the binding force of which is not lowered even if it is thick by forming the panel element by a flat panel element main body, both end parts of which are bent like an arc and both end edge parts made thinner than the main body part.
CONSTITUTION: Panel elements 3, 4 are formed out of, a polycarbonate plate, and the thickness of the end edge part 5 of the curved end part is made a little thinner. In the case of building the panel elements 3, 4 in a stringer 1, the rigidity of the curved end edge part 5 is low so that it comes into contact with the curved end parts of the adjacent panel elements 3, 4 at two points similarly to the case of using a thin panel element so as to prevent lowering of binding force A projection 6 is formed on the inner surface of the curved end parts of the panel elements 3, 4. In the case of building the thus formed panel elements 3, 4 in the stringer 1, the projection 6 of the top panel element 3 gets over the projection 6 of the bottom panel element 4 to overlap each other, so that the binding force of the panel elements 3, 4 can be further increased.
