To provide a pantile, in which a back-board effect is improved even when rainwater blows in from any direction and the drainage properties of rainwater infiltrating among superposed tiles are enhanced and which can elevate the appearance of a roof.
In the tile in which a tail-side back board 3 is formed at the tail section of a main body 2, a groove section 10 is formed along the lateral direction of the main body 2 on the head side from the tail-side flashing 3. The flow of rainwater blowing up the surface of the main body 2 can be weakened by the groove section 10. Since a flowing onto the surface of the main body 2 on the tail side from the groove section 10 of rainwater entering in the groove section 10 can be prevented, the back-board effect in the tail-side flashing 3 can be improved. Since it is viewed as if the two tiles were roofed by one tile when the roof is roofed, the roofing of the tiles more than the number of the practically used tiles is viewed. Accordingly, the roof can be shown in a size larger than the actual area of the roof.
