Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a paper container simple in production, free from trouble in forming process and easy to open.
CONSTITUTION: A score 12 is formed from surface layer side the nearly central part of upper folding side wall 3 on one side to define a tab area 11 so shaped as to have a closed lower part and an open upper part and a stopper 14 is provided at or near the upper end of the tab area 11. As an alternative, the score may be formed after attaching reinforcing film to the surface to cover the part becoming the tab area 11. After one side of a top seal part is opened left and right, the tab area 11 is pulled from below to separate the paper layers so as to form a tab piece and the tab piece is then pulled to peel off a seal part inside the top seal part so as to open a paper container. The paper container can be produced merely by providing the score 12 to define the tab area 11 and a stopper 14 or reinforcing film to prevent the breakage of the tab piece. Since the tab piece is not raised before opening the container, the container formation is not hindered.
