Abstract:
To provide a paper discharge device of a printer that can prevent sheets of paper on a lowered pallet from shifting to the rear side.SOLUTION: The paper discharge device of a printer includes a shutter device with a shutter member 9 that lowers a pallet with sheets of paper stacked thereon and is movable between the insert position at which the sheets of paper are inserted toward the top side from the ground side in the vertical direction of the sheets of paper that are stacked so as to temporarily support sheets of paper falling subsequently and the storage position where the sheets of paper are off to the ground side in the vertical direction of the sheets of paper from the insert position. The paper discharge device includes an end guide 10 that prevents the sheets of paper from moving toward the ground side in the vertical direction of the sheets of paper by contacting the end on the ground side in the vertical direction of the sheets of paper stacked on the pallet lowered more than the shutter member 9 that moves toward the insert position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
